BERSAMA EURASIER
My name is Zena Di Stefano
I live in Hertfordshire together with my husband, 3 boys and my Eurasier Bella.

I had always wanted a dog to complete the family and my first love of dogs from a young age was a Siberian Husky, I really like the wolf spitz look.
During lock down I started my research and quickly came to realise that a Husky would not fit into our family life. I started to ask family friends and local dog walkers about different breeds; a gentleman with a Chow Chow suggested I looked at getting a Eurasier. I had never heard of this breed before, so I started my research and I discovered the Eurasier ticked all the boxes for us as a family. Personally, I was looking for a breed that I could easily train and be able to take everywhere with me as having 3 boys our lives are very much sport focussed: football and rugby in particular including having to go on tours. I also didn’t want a breed that barked all the time at the slightest of things, but I did want a dog that would just be happy in our company and to have evening snuggles on the sofa; without doubt the best part of the evening!!
My search started with consulting the more established Eurasier organisations, they put me in contact with a lady who was looking to breed but unfortunately her girl didn’t take, and subsequently there was little communication with me, so I started to lose hope. I sent out many emails with no luck, so we decided to go to the Discover dogs show in London to look at other breeds, but it was still the Eurasier that held our hearts. I continued to send many emails and attended Eurasier walks, it was then that Helen and Dave emailed me back with the possibility of joining a puppy waiting list.
We finally met at Crufts surrounded by Eurasiers and I felt I was in my element; we even had a rugby tour close to Helen and Dave’s home in Sommerset so we were able to pop in and meet all their lovely dogs. We were now confident we had found a great family breeder and we hoped to be able to get a puppy from the next litter. Bella was born on the 10th July 2022 and we welcomed our little girl into our family. I had been really hoping for a girl as I craved female company being in a house full of boys even if it was canine company! She was well worth the wait, beautiful inside and out, and she really is a good girl.
Bella has such a good nature and remembering how hard it was for us to find her we made the decision to breed with her. With our fingers crossed we began our health checks which she has passed with flying colours; testament to the careful breeding program undertaken by Helen and Kerry. We now can’t wait to welcome more Eurasier puppies in to the world.
